HOW TO MAKE A CROWN OF FLOWERS
Since I was a little girl I've been obsessed with wild flowers, bugs and butterflies. I came to a shoot a short while ago and was surprised when I realized I was the only person who knew how to make the flower crown that was wanted for the celebrity's hair, so I thought I'd give you a little step-by-step guide of how to do it!

1. Do the base with flowers that have a flexible but strong stem. I like using red clover, also because of the nostalgic feeling I get. Twist the flower around the stem of the previous flower, then back over itself. Hold the ends well so it doesn't come undone
2. Continue with the same technique. What you want is to create a circle. Keep the buds and the leaves, it makes the base stronger and wilder looking.
3. Getting there :)
4. Measure the crown to the size of your head. Do a second round so that the base gets fuller and stronger. Tuck each stem under the previous hoop to secure.
5. Find the main flowers you want to decorate with. Daisy s are my favorite. If you want a more refined, luxurious crown to i.e. a wedding, a selection of only white flowers would be beautiful.
6. Pick a bunch, but remember to leave the roots so that they can grow back again next year :)

7. Continue using the same technique, going round and round
8. It's funny how you keep find 'empty' spots. I could go on forever to get it perfect, but the whole point is that it is not supposed to be perfect, so don't worry too much about it!
9. There! If you want to secure it even further, straw is strong as wire and adds a wilder touch to your new head accessory. Tuck the ends in and underneath, they are thin and stiff and easy to hide.
